To Add Instrument by Placing on an Existing Loop

Select an option from the Instruments gallery. (Example: Discrete Instruments)

Place the instrument in the drawing connected (either directly or using the leader line) to an instrument on an existing loop.

Tip: Right click after placement if you choose not to use the leader line.

The Properties dialog will display.

Define the Tag Number and component properties for the instrument.

Press OK.

Right-click to end the command. When a new instrument is attached to an existing loop, it is automatically added to the loop. You can check this by selecting the instrument just placed. You will notice that all of the instruments on the loop will be highlighted.
